ELEMENTARY Musical

ULS FROZEN, JR. PARENT NOTES

1. JAZZ SHOES: Please order your child a pair of black jazz shoes to use for the play. This link will take you to a pair that will be acceptable, but please feel free to find a pair that works for you. Be on the lookout for a message that tells you when to send those shoes to play practice with your child. The costume committee may also be requesting that parents purchase a couple of other items for their children, so please be watching for that message as well.

2. ADS: Playbill ad forms are due this Friday, 1/31. Due to the time sensitive nature required for the printing of the playbills, we are unable to accept late submissions. We will send several reminders in the GroupMe between now and 1/31, but please submit the forms timely here. AD FORM

3. TICKETS:  Ticket request forms are also due on Friday, 1/31. The tickets will go on sale to the general public shortly, so we need those request forms timely to make sure that we are able to accommodate all requests. TICKET FORM

4. ACCOMMODATIONS: Please reach out to me if you or one of your guests require certain ADA accommodations for the play. We want to make sure that everyone is accommodated and need that information prior to tickets going on sale to the general public.

5. PERFORMANCE NEEDS: Each actor is provided with a small snack and water for each play performance that they are in. In order to accomplish this task, we ask that parents sign up to provide a box of chips/crackers (36 count or higher) and/or a case of at least 24 8oz waters. Please be on the lookout for this signup genius within the next few days.

6. To make this show happen, we ask for help from the parents to work concessions, backstage, handing out playbills, taking tickets, and manning the love notes station. Typically we ask for a representative of each actor to sign up for a shift working one of these stations for AT LEAST one show. The show you sign up to work does not have to be a show that your child is performing in. We cannot pull off the play without this specific help!!! To that end, please also be ready to receive a signup genius asking for a representative of each actor to sign up to work a shift.

We will send out these sign up geniuses mentioned above on both the GroupMe and via email. Please reach out to me or Katie Chabert (318-680-1964 or katiedchabert@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
